How to permanently delete your Savnex account and all associated personal data

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Once your account is deleted, all your data is erased and cannot be recovered. Please read the details below before proceeding.

Option 1 — Delete directly from the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the Savnex app itself:

Open the Savnex app

Log in to your account on your Android device.

Go to Profile → Settings

Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then tap "Settings".

Tap "Account"

Scroll to the Account section and tap "Manage Account".

Tap "Delete Account"

Tap the "Delete Account" option at the bottom of the page.

Verify your identity

Confirm via OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

Confirm deletion

Read the confirmation screen, then tap "Delete permanently". Your account and data deletion will begin immediately.

Option 2 — Request via email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Data retained for regulatory compliance is stored securely in isolated, access-controlled storage and is never used for marketing or profiling.

What happens if you have active balances

PPI Wallet balance

Any remaining PPI wallet balance will be refunded to your linked bank account (if KYC-verified) or resolved per RBI PPI Master Directions before the account is closed. You will be notified and asked to confirm before deletion proceeds.

Savings Vault balance (merchants only)

Outstanding vault balance will be transferred to your registered bank account before the account is closed. Processing time: 1–3 business days subject to IMPS/NEFT timelines.

Pending transactions

Account deletion will only proceed after all pending transactions are settled. You will be notified of any pending items that need resolution.

Active Reward Pool (merchants only)

Any unused reward pool funds in the merchant escrow will be returned to the merchant's registered bank account before closure.

Deletion timeline

Immediate

Account access is revoked. You will be logged out on all devices.

Within 24 hours

Profile data, KYC data, UPI VPA, device tokens, and in-app messages are queued for deletion.

Within 30 days

All queued personal data is permanently erased from active systems and backups.

Up to 8 years

Financial transaction records and KYC audit trail retained in isolated storage as required by law.
